Le elezioni legislative in Francia si terranno il 12 e 19 giugno 2022 per eleggere i 577 membri della 16a Assemblea nazionale della Quinta Repubblica francese. Le elezioni si svolgono dopo le elezioni presidenziali francesi del 2022, che si sono svolte ad aprile.
Sfondo
Dopo le elezioni legislative francesi del 2017, il partito Renaissance (precedentemente noto come La République En Marche!) del presidente Emmanuel Macron e i suoi alleati detengono la maggioranza nell'Assemblea nazionale (577 seggi). Il gruppo La République en Marche conta 308 deputati; il Movimento Democratico (MoDem) e il gruppo democratico affiliato conta 42 deputati; e l'ensemble Agir, creato nel novembre 2017, ha 9 deputati. Si è discusso in parte del passaggio del sistema elettorale alla rappresentanza proporzionale. Sebbene la proposta di far eleggere parte del Parlamento con un sistema di rappresentanza proporzionale sia stata inclusa nella piattaforma di Macron nel 2017, questa promessa elettorale non è stata mantenuta. Una promessa simile è stata fatta da François Hollande quando ha fatto una campagna per la presidenza nel 2012. Le elezioni presidenziali francesi del 2022 si sono svolte il 10 e 24 aprile 2022. Poiché nessun candidato ha ottenuto la maggioranza al primo turno, si è tenuto un ballottaggio, in cui Emmanuel Macron ha sconfitto Marine Le Pen ed è stato rieletto presidente della Francia. Macron, dal centrista La République En Marche! (LREM), aveva sconfitto Le Pen, leader del National Rally (RN), di estrema destra, già una volta alle elezioni presidenziali del 2017. Al primo turno, Macron ha preso il comando con il 27,9% dei voti, mentre Valérie Pécresse, la candidata per The Republicans, ha preso meno del 5% dei voti al primo turno, il peggior risultato nella storia del partito o dei suoi predecessori gollisti . Anne Hidalgo, sindaco di Parigi, ha ottenuto l'1,75% dei voti, il peggiore nella storia del Partito socialista (PS). Jean-Luc Mélenchon della sinistra La France Insoumise (LFI) è arrivato terzo al primo turno con il 21,95% dei voti e l'1,2% dietro Le Pen, secondo in classifica, arrivando primo anche nella fascia di età 18–24 e 25–34 gruppi, anche nell'Île-de-France, la regione più popolosa della Francia. Nel contesto della partecipazione comune alle elezioni legislative, La France Insoumise, la più grande forza di sinistra alle elezioni presidenziali, ha cercato di unire i principali gruppi di sinistra partiti attorno alla bandiera dell'Ecologista e dell'Unione Sociale del Nuovo Popolo. Le discussioni si sono svolte con il Polo ecologista e il Partito Comunista Francese che hanno aderito alla coalizione il 1 maggio, mentre il Partito socialista ha raggiunto un accordo per aderire alla coalizione il 4 maggio. Il 5 maggio 2022 LREM ha cambiato nome in Renaissance, introducendo la sua grande tenda e una coalizione centrista per le elezioni legislative composta dai partiti di maggioranza presidenziale chiamata Ensemble. Il 16 maggio 2022 Macron ha nominato Élisabeth Borne Primo Ministro, in sostituzione di Jean Castex. Borne, membro del Rinascimento ed ex Partito Socialista, prestava servizio come Ministro del Lavoro, dell'Occupazione e dell'Inclusione Economica di Macron prima della sua nomina a Primo Ministro. Secondo le disposizioni del Codice elettorale, l'elezione legislativa deve tenersi entro 60 giorni prima della scadenza dei poteri dell'Assemblea nazionale uscente annessa al terzo martedì di giugno, cinque anni dopo la sua elezione. La fine del mandato dell'Assemblea nazionale eletta nel 2017 è fissata per il 21 giugno 2022. Le date delle elezioni legislative sono state determinate dal Consiglio dei ministri.Sistema elettorale
I 577 membri del Parlamento (MP), noti anche come deputati, che compongono l'Assemblea nazionale sono eletti per cinque anni con un sistema a due turni in collegi uninominali. Al primo turno viene eletto un candidato che ottiene la maggioranza assoluta dei voti validi e un totale di voti pari al 25% dell'elettorato registrato. Se nessun candidato raggiunge questa soglia, si procede al ballottaggio tra i candidati che hanno ricevuto un totale di voti pari al 12,5% dell'elettoratoTitoli di articoli correlati
